2. Can the devices still be used when the network goes down?
Yes. The devices support offline storage: authentication records are kept locally during an outage and uploaded automatically to the platform once the network recovers, so access control and attendance statistics are unaffected.
3. Should I choose a fingerprint or a face attendance terminal?
Fingerprint terminals cost less and suit smaller offices in clean, dry environments. Face terminals need no contact, recognise quickly and support mask-wearing recognition, making them better for crowded environments such as factories, construction sites and canteens where fingerprints wear down. Devices also support combined face + fingerprint + card authentication, configurable by security level.
